The mega event, has come a long way since its inception and has earned the reputation of being the most credible beauty pageant of the region. It seems just yesterday, that the 1st edition of the pageant was launched and this mega event has proudly completed its 5th edition successfully. It all started in the year 2014, when Pride East Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, the leading media house of North-east, ventured into the world of beauty pageants and established “North East Diva”, a pageant which has now become a coveted brand in itself.

The last four seasons of North East Diva have been phenomenal to say the least. The first four editions of the mega event managed to set the highest standards for beauty pageants in the region. In its very first year, North East Diva was organized in collaboration with the prestigious Miss India Organization.

Jantee Hazarika who was crowned “Vivel North East Diva 2014-15”, got a direct entry into the finals of Femina Miss India 2014 as one of the top 14 contestants and made the region proud by winning two distinguished titles – Miss India Photogenic 2014 and Miss India Style Icon 2014. She is now successfully pursuing her career in the fashion as well as entertainment industry, doing TVC’s for brands like Lakme, Close UP, Tataclq etc.

In its second season, the pageant tied up with the internationally acclaimed COSMOPLITAN group to provide an even greater platform. The coveted crown was won by Ruby Boro. She is now working as a successful model, walking the ramp for top Indian and international designers.

The third edition of the mega event North East Diva was organized in collaboration with the Miss India Organization and the third year was special in the sense that the winner of Fiama Northeast Diva, Peden Ongmu Namgyal went on to represent India in Poland at the Miss Supranational world pageant. Peden, had got a direct entry into the finale of Yamaha Fascino Miss India 2017 after being crowned of North East Diva. Peden’s success, reassured what Northeast Diva has always stood for, that is to provide a platform where the girls from the remotest parts of the region can realise their highest dreams.

In its fourth season, the pageant tied up with Miss India Organization with the same motive to provide a greater platform to the girls of Northeast. And the success continues as the winner of Fiama NorthEast Diva 2018 Anindita Kakoty won the coveted crown of Yamaha Fashino 2018 Miss Talented , she also made us proud by winning Resort Rio Spirit a contest organised by Miss Diva 2018. She is now pursuing her higher studies and also working as a successful model, walking the ramp for top Indian and international designers.

In the fifth season Malashya Kashyap from Udalguri, Assam was crowned as Engage “North East Diva, 2019” among the 20 participants who had auditioned for the Engage North East Diva, 2019 on 28th July. Malashya Kashyap then went on to win the title of ‘Miss Body Beautiful’ at the LIVA Miss Diva 2020 beauty pageant held in Mumbai. She also won the title ‘Miss Talent’ and was adjudged the winner of National Costume sub-contest at the same event.

At present, Malashya is walking for some famous designers from the fashion industry and along with that she is pursuing her higher studies in Guwahati.

IAs the mega event gets bigger with every passing season, North East Diva continues to scout for talent in its most original form which is then honed by professionals at this mega platform which aims to take the Northeast as a whole to the national and global arena.

North East Diva is a platform which envisages to from the remotest corner to Miss Universe. The finalists got a once- in- a- lifetime opportunity to be groomed by renowned Show directors like Marc Robinson, Shyamlee Kalra, pageant coach Noyonita Lodh, Anjali Raut, and Ramp walk trainers Alesia Raut, Dona Masih who are nationally and internationally acclaimed. Northeast Diva is a pageant which also gives international exposure to the girls as they are judged by internationally acclaimed professionals from all fields of media and fashion industry like John Abraham, Adil Hussain, Jatin Kampani, Gavin Miguel, Nandini Bhalla, Neha Ahuja, Neha Ahuja, Roshmitha Harimurthy, Rohan Shrestha, Parno Mittra etc. North East Diva transforms young girls into refined ladies, by aspiring to give its contestants from the nook and corner of the region a global platform for their dreams to come true.
